LIN-SH - Universal Laser Safety Head

LIN-SH is a universal laser safety head designed for marking products even in demanding applications. It has been developed by the LINTECH team to allow easy integration on a variety of manipulators – from linear axes to robotic arms to conveyors. As a result, it can mark even shape-complex products in demanding production conditions.

The main advantage is that there is no need to cover the entire workplace – safety is ensured by the head design itself.

Key Features

  • Marking of different shaped products without having to cover the whole station,
  • primarily for integration into existing buildings (e.g. casting cell, robotic workplace, etc.),
  • marking even at high part temperatures (up to 400 °C),
  • compact dimensions and easy integration,
  • limited possibilities of the marking area.

Advantages of the whole system

  • Production cycle time comparable to conventional methods – up to 3s.
  • Possibility to mark different sizes of DMC codes up to very small sizes.
  • Marking is possible in tight spaces.
  • Easy installation into an already established production.
  • Easy product change.
  • DMC code marking is resistant to rougher types of surface treatment.
  • The robot can feed lighter parts under the stationary laser head or move the flexible laser head directly onto the surface of the part to be marked.
  • The weight of the entire head assembly is either 11 or 16 kg (without or with additional sliding linear axis).
