The laser can create markings very quickly and with sensitivity to the material, while achieving excellent design quality and detail. The laser control software allows for easy change of the marking concept along with automatic data generation and incrementing or conversion to barcodes. As with most laser applications, no consumables are required to create the marked patterns.
With the help of software-controlled positioning axes, it is possible to mark rotating objects along their circumference (so-called rotary splitting) or areas larger than the available marking field of the laser (so-called 2D splitting).
Marking using laser technology is characterised by qualitatively different features from the processes used to date (screen printing, pad printing, mechanical engraving and embossing) and addresses the disadvantages of these conventional technologies.
