We were asked to test laser applications cleaning the sensor plate that serves as a mirror reflecting ultrasonic waves. This component ensures the creation of an orthogonal reflection of the signal to other mirrors and then back.

Cleaning the sensor surface therefore serves to improve the reflection of the ultrasonic signal and thus reduce the number of NOK pieces.

Activation(cleaning) removes the oxidized micro layer from the surface of the mirror, which is located in the sensor.

Thanks to the use of laser technology the process can be repeated with maximum precision.
