A major company in the automotive industry needed to address the quality control of the production process to prevent frequent production errors.
A single-purpose machine that will use micropoint technology to mark castings with a 2D code and then verify them.

The marking machine has a carriage with clamps for clamping the casting. The trolley has 2 positions: marking and verification. In the marking position the castings are inserted and removed. The marking position is equipped with two Östling PN4/6 marking heads with pneumatic tip. The verification and conveyor positions are equipped with cameras.
Each casting carries two products. Each product is marked with a 2D code after casting. The code has a size of 12×12 modules (dots) and a dimension of 7×7 mm. The marking is done on a single-purpose marking and verification machine located in the casting workplace. The castings are inserted into the machine by a manipulator after cooling in the bath. After marking, the codes on the products are verified by two cameras. Another 4 cameras and signal lights are placed on conveyors in the inspection and sorting section of the workplace. The inspection and sorting part of the workplace is also equipped with a wireless barcode reader to read the number of the baskets into which the products fall. Once the codes are read by the cameras or readers, an entry is made in the database. The control application of the single-purpose machine and the application for verification, database entry and communication with the workstation control system run on a touch-screen computer.
In the following production areas, data and communication cabinets with cameras, code readers and computers with touch monitors are installed to monitor the flow of products through the production operations. The database is run on a database server. Each cabinet is therefore connected to the end user’s computer network.
We can demonstrate most of the technologies we offer live or make samples.
The supplier LINTECH is a long-established supplier for Varroc Lighting Sytems, which is used on projects both in Varroc’s parent plant in Nový Jičín and in the subsidiary plant in Rychvald.
We have purchased a machine for laser marking of castings from LINTECH. We highly appreciate the quality and speed of technical support from LINTECH in dealing with new requirements from our customers.
Since 2017 we have purchased 3 laser marking stations from LINTECH. The machines have been designed to suit our type of production (piece production of steel components for mechanical seals), i.e. with an emphasis on variability and easy reconfiguration. The machines work as they should. The change in marking technology has also brought time savings in the process and comfort of work (after breaking through the initial resistance, the change was positively received by the operators).
The company LINTECH adapted to our requirements to the maximum, designed and constructed for us the equipment according to the specified parameters for laser welding of plastics, metals and the description of the mentioned materials.
